OnSite Design has recently purchased and began to plan a subdivision around the Old Goodwood Plantation. The subdivision is being promoted as a historical place to live: The plantation’s story is being framed as a love story and the streets will be named after other plantation owners. My name is Deon Sumer and I am excited to say that this is my last semester of college! I am looking forward to this class among others this semester that concentrate on what I am interested in. Writing has always been my strong point and favorite activity throughout school (other than talking too much). Therefore, I'm especially looking forward to this class. There aren't many other opportunities throughout college to get to write about very relevant hot-button topics, like this. I'm most looking forward to hearing differing opinions from my classmates in hopes to expand my horizon... there's so many opinions out there! I currently am the general manager of Southern Oaks Athletic Club, which takes up the majority of my time outside of school. Though I am not sure what my career after college will be, this class will bring me one step closer to it!
